The 26th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party hosted by Sir Elton John and David Furnish raised $5.9 million for the global effort to end AIDS. The gala, which took place on Sunday, March 4, at West Hollywood Park in Los Angeles, was generously supported by Presenting Sponsor BVLGARI.
But it is not just the ceremony itself that commands attention, and one of the most popular parties on the night is the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party. Elton first held the do in 1993, and it has gone on to become one of the most high-profile Oscar parties in Hollywood – while also having raised more than $200 million for HIV/AIDS prevention since its inception. A list names push for a ticket, and this year was no exception, with Miley Cyrus, Heidi Klum and Joan Collins all in attendance.
